As founder of Australia’s #1 online fitness program, I’m always asked what is the best way to get a toned, flat stomach.

The reality is that most people have it all wrong. Thousands of sit-ups, starving yourself or exercising for hours is NOT the answer.

To flatten those abs, you need to increase your metabolism with HIIT (high-intensity interval training) and resistance training (quality over quantity). You need to eat a higher protein diet and ensure you're consistently in calorie deficit (so you burn more than you eat), and you need to get enough water and sleep. If it sounds simple, it’s because it is simple.
